Wouldn't it have been nice if you had received your gas and electric bills FROM Anet?

Hey, guys,

I know this might be a shot in the dark, but I'm going to take it. A few of the very special Wintersday Cards that we sent out--due to people moving, or perhaps to a slight glitch in the address on file--were returned to us as undeliverable mail.

I'd love to send these to the deserving friends for whom they were intended, so I will list the initials and city/state below. If you think the person may be you, please send your old address (for verification purposes) and a new one to [email protected] and we'll get the Wintersday card out to you later this week.

Subject line: Wintersday Card Address
Name:
Full Old Address:
Full New Address:

Thanks so much. For privacy protection, I'm putting as little as I can on this, so it's possible that more than one person may think the card was sent to him or her, but we'll sort that out by the old mailing address (with apologies if there is a mistaken identity!) I would just love to make sure that the good folks get their cards, so please do let us year from you.

RN - Grandview, MO
EK - Cantbury, OH
BP - Goose Creek, SC
JA - Hanahan, SC
JH - Fremont, CA

VL - Moorpark, CA

Thanks a lot!

Gaile,

Thanks for the replacement card (918/1000); it arrived the day after Christmas. The grench that demolished the original card should be fed fruitcake until he turns into an elf.

Here's to a happy new year!

A-net, thanks so much for the card!(609/1000)

I sure didn't expect it when I got it in the mail, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Little things like the Christmas card show just how Anet cares about their gaming community, and go out of their way to make the overall experience better. Thanks again, and happy new year!

did we ever find out the criteria for getting a card????
would be nice to know how the lucky 999 were picked (unless it was totally random, but then how would they get RL addys for some of the people).

just curious

I too am interested to see if any European players received one. Certainly all the reports here seem to be US based so far.

Oh, yes, certainly a significant number of cards were set aside for European players! Our partners at NCsoft, according to a phone conversation I had last Thursday, are still sending them out. This is because the cards were sent to that office just as they closed down for the Christmas holidays, and they did not have the opportunity to mail cards until very recently.

But yes, according to a NCE team member, cards have been sent European players and should begin to arrive very, very soon.
